Well, hello.
I am the founder of the cognitive career platform 9-to-6.com and a third-generation linguist.
I was born into a so-called ‘‘academic family’’ and grew up in our home library, while dictionaries written by my family members lined the shelves of my classroom.
My lineage includes an eminent professor of historical linguistics as my grandfather, a dear friend of the great-grandson of Lev Tolstoy, and my mother, a distinguished lexicographer and philologist, as well as a recipient of the Interstate Commonwealth Award for outstanding contributions to science and education.
I am a linguistic hooligan who decided to kick off my Prada stilettos and shake things up.
Having authored a dictionary on mafia argot and after stints at prestigious law firms like Latham & Watkins and White & Case, I've mastered the art of decoding any language brain teaser, from criminal slang to legalese.
As a career chameleon, I've worn countless hats on my journey to expertise: HR manager, global headhunter, translator, interpreter, and (brace yourself) even a job seeker.
Be your strongest,
Natalia
